Transport for NSW is seeking a Project Engineer to support development, project delivery and trial implementation across road technology and ITS initiatives. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver improvements across the NSW transport network, focusing on safety, efficiency and customer outcomes.

You will hold a four-year engineering degree, have ITS/SCATS experience, strong analytical skills and be willing to travel and work outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Electronics or related discipline.
• Experience in ITS, traffic signal operations, SCATS, data analytics or network optimisation is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for optimisation and technical advisory skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Support development, project delivery and trial implementation activities.
• Contribute to design outcomes while ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
• Assist with ITS solutions, technology integration and data-driven decision making.
• Assist CONOPS development, solution design and technical specifications.
• Analyze operational performance and support traffic signal optimisation initiatives.
