Job summary

The Salvation Army Swan Hill Corps is seeking a Thrift Store Supervisor to deliver exceptional customer service and support day-to-day store operations on-site in Swan Hill, VIC. Reporting to the Corps Officer, this casual role includes processing, pricing and merchandising donated goods, assisting with promotions, cash handling, opening/closing procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have retail customer service experience, strong communication and time-management

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required.
• Drivers Licence and Working With Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service across all store areas.
• Assist with processing, pricing and merchandising of donated goods.
• Support promotional activities and visual merchandising.
• Complete opening/closing procedures, cash handling and banking tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and follow WHS procedures.
