Makita Australia is seeking an energetic Sales Representative to manage and grow our QLD North territory (Rockhampton to Gladstone and surrounding areas). You will build strong customer relationships, drive sales growth, and deliver product demonstrations across dealers, job sites and end users.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ on-the-road sales experience.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Experience with power tools, accessories or outdoor power equipment (highly regarded).
• Self-motivated, organised and results-driven.
• Comfortable conducting product demos, training and trade events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across your assigned territory.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across all market segments.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training and in-store merchandising.
• Implement promotional activity and support marketing initiatives.
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
