Job summary

Soudal Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks an Account Manager to build our brand and nurture long-term relationships with key customers across the Melbourne Metro East region. You will engage with end users to support our distribution partners and help drive sales growth through proactive account management.

The role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, with ability to work remotely when not visiting clients and to engage across construction and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Strong account management experience.
• Experience dealing with customers from family businesses to large corporates.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook and Dynamics 365.
• Ability to work remotely and/or from home.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, timber, flooring, roofing, plumbing, hardware or related sectors.
• Flexibility to work from home when not visiting clients.

Job description

In this role your major goal will be to build the brand and long-term relationships with our selected customer base across our Melbourne Metro East region. Training and support is ongoing to keep you at the front edge of the technology. This role includes Product Demonstration & End User Engagement to support your Distribution Partners.

About you

Strong account management experience

Experienced in dealing with customers from family businesses to large corporates

Able to work with Word, Outlook and Dynamics 365

Able to work remotely

Experience in the construction, manufacturing, timber, flooring, roofing, plumbing, glazing, hardware, building supplies, waterproofing or tiling industries

Previous experience with sealants, adhesives, expanding foams, lubricants, waterproofing membranes, fire rated products and chemical anchoring is highly desirable but not essential

Flexibility to work from home when not visiting clients
