Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Wangaratta/Benalla & Surrounds to join our Field Sales Team in the Grocery channel. This full-time permanent role includes a fully maintained company vehicle, a company phone and tablet, and a competitive salary with a bonus program.

You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth through in-store opportunities. Travel 1-2 nights per month and lead Merchandisers within a global FMCG leader.

Qualifications

• Field sales or retail experience in FMCG preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets or managing growth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to negotiate effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face meetings, identify needs, showcase products, and negotiate sales agreements.
• Monitor competitor insights and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to management and customers.
• Deliver against key sales KPIs, including shelf management, presell, compliance, and high-impact displays.
• Drive in-store opportunities such as incremental distribution and off-location displays.
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of Merchandisers.
• Travel for customer visits and meetings; travel includes 1-2 nights a month.
