Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking a Sales Engineer to manage an established customer base across Regional Victoria while driving new business opportunities within key industrial sectors. You will deliver technical consultation and build relationships with engineers and operations managers to tailor automation solutions.

You will conduct about 12 visits per week, develop a healthy sales pipeline, and collaborate with internal specialists to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within industrial automation or related sectors.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with engineers, maintenance and operations teams.
• Strong consultative selling and solution-based approach to customers.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established customer portfolio across Regional Victoria.
• Conduct approximately 12 customer visits per week across the territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted industrial sectors.
• Build strong relationships with engineers, maintenance teams, operations managers and key decision-makers.
• Drive cross-selling and upselling across the automation portfolio.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective opportunity management.
• Provide technical consultation and solution-based selling to customers.
• Work with internal technical specialists to support customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales activity reporting.
• Achieve annual revenue targets and deliver sustainable territory growth.
