Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Territory Manager for the Surgical Technologies division in VIC/TAS, responsible for hospitals and healthcare facilities across Metropolitan West, Ballarat and Tasmania. You’ll drive strategic sales plans, build critical hospital relationships, and demonstrate Neptune 3, Neptune S, and SafeAir solutions to improve operating room safety and efficiency.

Role involves travel within Victoria and occasional trips to Tasmania, with a global Fortune 500 backing and multiple

Qualifications

• Proven sales success with targets exceeded in prior roles.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities for diverse audiences.
• Strategic business sense with market analysis skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Victoria and to Tasmania.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to exceed targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share.
• Build relationships with nurses, theatre managers, biomedical engineers, procurement teams and hospital leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
• Deliver product demonstrations, educational sessions, and training programs.
• Provide post-sale clinical support and exceptional customer service.

We’re looking for a Territory Manager to join our Surgical Technologies division, focused on a portfolio that includes Neptune 3, Neptune S, and the SafeAir Smoke Evacuation Pencil. These capital equipment solutions are designed to simplify surgical waste management, evacuate smoke, and create safer, cleaner operating rooms for patients and staff. You’ll be working with hospitals to implement technologies that transform the surgical environment and empower providers to deliver the highest standard of care.

This is a VIC/TAS role, covering hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Metropolitan West, Ballarat and Tasmania.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to exceed targets
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share
• Build strong relationships with nurses, theatre managers, biomedical engineers, procurement teams and hospital C‑Suite
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
• Deliver product demonstrations, educational sessions, and training programs
• Provide exceptional customer service and post‑sale clinical support

Minimum Requirements

• Proven success in sales with a track record of exceeding targets (3+ years)
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences
• Strategic mindset with business acumen and market analysis skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Victoria and occasional trips to Tasmania

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business, Nursing, Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of hospitals and selling in the healthcare setting
