Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Tenancy Manager to lead day-to-day management of residential tenancies across our Housing portfolio in Sydney. You will work with residents, service providers and agencies to ensure tenancy obligations are met and housing services are delivered in line with policy and legislation.

You will foster positive tenant experiences, maintain tenancy compliance and support long-term housing outcomes with professionalism, empathy and strong tenancy-management expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3+ years’ experience in tenancy or property management.
• 2 years of strong understanding of social housing, affordable housing or community housing environments.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
• Current Driver’s Licence and own car.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenancy agreements, onboarding and resident transitions
• Oversee rent setting, reviews and collection
• Handle tenancy enquiries, disputes and lease-related matters
• Ensure compliance with Residential Tenancies Act and housing requirements
• Build relationships with residents and provide excellent customer service
• Support tenants to access services and community supports
• Conduct property inspections and tenancy-related reporting
• Identify maintenance issues with Asset Management teams
• Monitor tenancy and property matters with timely follow-ups
• Maintain accurate tenancy records and reporting
• Prepare tenancy reports, rental reviews and compliance documentation
• Monitor trends and support reporting requirements
