Beyond Housing is seeking a Sustaining Tenancies at Risk Program (STAR) Worker to support renters at risk of eviction in the private rental market. The role focuses on information, referrals, budgeting support, and negotiating with landlords and agents, while building partnerships with local real estate agents.

Commencing January 2027 on a full-time 12-month maximum term contract (0.8 FTE part-time considered), the position offers a hybrid work arrangement, paid benefits and opportunities for

Qualifikationen

• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a busy team.
• Understanding and applying Victorian RTA, Privacy, Anti-Discrimination, Equal Opportunity legislation.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Experience in social housing or community sectors preferred.

• Providing Information and support to clients on housing opportunities.
• Developing strong partnerships with real estate agents in the local area.
• Providing brokerage and referrals to other specialist services.
• Supporting clients with budgeting support and information.
• Negotiation and dispute resolution with landlords and agents.
