Job summary

Tenants Queensland is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed-term for 6 months Tenant Advice Worker to join the QSTARS HUB. The role centers on delivering expert tenancy advice to residential renters and coordinating referrals to regional offices and external services.

You will work in a Brisbane-based HUB team, supported by coordinators, bringing strong communication skills and empathy for clients facing housing challenges. This is a values-driven, training-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008.
• Ability to relate to people from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Experience in Social Welfare or related community services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, accurate tenancy advice to residential renters.
• Triaged matters to QSTARS regional offices and external referral services.
• Support the statewide rental community through the HUB contact centre.
