Job summary

Australian Red Cross is seeking a tenancy sustainability role to support individuals and families at risk of homelessness. You will conduct holistic assessments and coordinate with agencies to provide tailored case management and tenancy support.

The position requires strong collaboration, advocacy, and the ability to adapt processes to meet complex client needs, including mental health and family conflict; a valid driver’s licence and Working with Children Check are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide high quality specialist casework support and case management including holistic assessment of client needs and development of case plans.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to identify service gaps and manage complex cases within a context of competing priorities.
• Experience in collaborating with interagency partners and stakeholders, including statutory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to clients to identify strengths and needs and assist in setting and attaining identified goals.
• Conduct holistic assessments and coordinate with other agencies to source appropriate support.
• Contribute to co-design processes and adapt innovative approaches to improve Red Cross response.
