Job summary

Fusion Careers seeks an experienced Customer Service Specialist for a January temporary assignment in Double Bay. The role centers on owning customer orders from sales handover through installation, with a focus on blinds and shutters.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–3:30pm, 4–31 January 2027, with on-site parking. You’ll manage supplier portals, maintain spreadsheets, coordinate payments before installation, and keep customers informed of progress and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and administration
• Solid organisation skills and proactive mindset
• Comfort with using Excel and Google Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules
• Comfortable liaising with customers, suppliers and installers

Responsibilities

• Manage and track customer orders from sales handover through installation
• Place and monitor orders via supplier portals
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets and order records
• Liaise with suppliers and follow up delivery dates
• Contact customers when orders arrive and arrange payments before installation
• Coordinate customer availability, installer schedules and appointments
• Check in with installers daily and resolve outstanding actions
• Handle changes or delays and keep customers informed
• Coordinate warranty claims and after-sales issues
• Complete supplier and warranty documentation
• Ensure issues are resolved from start to finish
