Zusammenfassung

Lithgow City Council is seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join for a temporary term up to 2 years. You will report to the HR Advisor and handle generalist HR services across employee relations, learning and development, HR systems, policy, performance, recruitment and HR projects.

Key duties include coordinating recruitment, payroll notifications, onboarding/offboarding, training program management, and maintaining ECM records.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of and administration of human resource information systems.
• Certificate III in Business Administration or HR related field.
• Experience coordinating and facilitating training programs and events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
• Experience in recruitment and selection processes.
• Willingness to undertake further capacity building in HR.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety principles.
• Commitment to honesty and integrity.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate recruitment and selection including advertising, interview coordination, onboarding and offboarding.
• Provide Payroll notifications for new employees, terminations and salary changes.
• Enrol and update employees on the learning platform.
• Maintain the Learning and Development training plan and manage training requests.
• Coordinate tertiary and corporate training as required.
• Register and manage correspondence in the ECM according to protocols.
• Verify and update Working with Children Register.
• Facilitate development and implementation of HR Systems in line with policy and legislation.
• Maintain current knowledge of HR legislation, codes of practice and council policies.
