Job summary

Green Light is seeking a Telecommunications Team Leader for a 12-month contract based in Adelaide. You will lead and coordinate the team’s daily activities, manage workloads and service requests, and assign work based on skills and urgency.

The role requires overseeing incidents, changes, migrations, outages, and reporting on performance. You will mentor staff, coordinate with service providers and other IT teams, and help improve processes and automation while ensuring continuity of operational

Responsibilities

• leading and coordinating the team’s daily activities.
• managing workloads, priorities, work queues, and service requests.
• assigning work based on skills, capacity, urgency, and service impact.
• overseeing incidents, escalations, requests, problems, and changes.
• ensuring high-priority, emergency telecommunications issues are promptly escalated.
• coordinating internal activities associated with service provisioning, migrations, changes, and planned outages.
• coordinating team availability and continuity of operational coverage.
• conducting operational meetings and maintaining action registers.
• reviewing the timeliness and quality of completed work.
• mentoring team members and improving operational consistency.
• coordinating with the Service Desk, infrastructure teams, local sites, project teams, and service providers.
• monitoring provider actions and escalating delays or performance concerns.
• preparing operational, workload and service-performance reports.
• maintaining procedures, work instructions, operational playbooks, and Knowledge Base Articles.
• identifying service, process, and automation improvements; and
• providing regular advice and reporting to the Service Integration and Unified Communications Manager.
