Job summary

Green Light Worldwide seeks multiple Field Support Technicians / Deployment Engineers to support a large-scale regional technology deployment program across Victoria. You will provide onsite technical support, deployment, installation and remediation services across multiple regional locations, with extensive travel required.

Working within a dedicated delivery team, you will handle site rollout activities, technology refreshes, and field-based technical support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Technician, Deployment Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting desktop, laptop, and mobile device deployments.
• Experience with hardware installations, technology rollouts, and site-based support activities.
• Basic understanding of networking and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite deployment, installation, and support activities across multiple regional locations
• Conduct device replacements, hardware installations, and technology refresh activities
• Support infrastructure, endpoint, networking, and peripheral device deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues encountered during deployments
• Provide user support and technical assistance during implementation activities
• Coordinate with project teams and site stakeholders to ensure successful site delivery outcomes
• Maintain accurate deployment records, asset information, and project documentation
• Escalate technical issues and risks where required
• Support testing, validation, and post-deployment activities
• Travel regularly across assigned regional locations to meet project schedules and milestones

About the Role

Green Light is seeking multiple experienced Field Support Technicians / Deployment Engineers to support a large-scale regional technology deployment program across Victoria.

Working as part of a dedicated delivery team, you will be responsible for providing onsite technical support, deployment, installation, and remediation services across multiple regional locations. This role requires extensive travel throughout assigned regions and strong hands-on experience supporting infrastructure, end-user devices, and site-based technology environments.

Four technicians will be deployed across the regional footprint, with responsibility for supporting site rollout activities, technology refreshes, installations, and field-based technical support.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite deployment, installation, and support activities across multiple regional locations
• Conduct device replacements, hardware installations, and technology refresh activities

• Greater South (Geelong Region) – 9 sites
• Greater East (West Gippsland) – 16 sites
• East Gippsland – 10 sites
• South Gippsland & Bass Coast – 12 sites
• Greater Northeast (Goulburn Valley) – 18 sites
• Alpine & High Country – 26 sites

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Field Technician, Deployment Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience supporting desktop, laptop, and mobile device deployments
• Experience with hardware installations, technology rollouts, and site-based support activities
• Basic understanding of networking and infrastructure technologies
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments and related technologies
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites and locations
• Full driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout regional Victoria
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
