Job summary

Genus Group in North Sydney is seeking a Project Support Officer to join our team supporting telecommunications maintenance and infrastructure programs. The role is hands-on and involves coordinating work orders, project information and day-to-day administration to drive tasks to completion.

You will work with project and field teams, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a similar project support, coordination or administration role.
• Strong computer skills and confidence working with databases and systems.
• Competency across Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Previous experience within telecommunications, utilities, construction or a similar industry would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Allocating, managing and tracking work orders through to completion
• Providing administrative support to Field Contract Managers
• Maintaining and updating project databases, systems and records
• Assisting with land access assessments
• Preparing and coordinating variation and Extension of Time requests
• Supporting project documentation and client requirements
• Monitoring work orders, priorities and deadlines
• Liaising with field teams, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with operational and client reporting
• General project and administrative support as required
