Job summary

Genus Services invites applications for a hands-on Project Support Officer based in North Sydney. You will support telecommunications network maintenance projects, manage work orders, maintain databases and assist with documentation and client requirements.

The role emphasises multi-tasking, accuracy and reliable project support across a busy operational environment, working with field teams and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar project support, coordination or administration role.
• Strong computer skills and confidence working with databases and systems.
• Competency across Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Previous experience within telecommunications, utilities, construction or a similar industry would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Allocating, managing and tracking work orders through to completion.
• Providing administrative support to Field Contract Managers.
• Maintaining and updating project databases, systems and records.
• Assisting with land access assessments.
• Preparing and coordinating variation and Extension of Time requests.
• Supporting project documentation and client requirements.
• Monitoring work orders, priorities and deadlines.
• Liaising with field teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Assisting with operational and client reporting.
• General project and administrative support as required.
