Job summary

Telstra Corporation seeks Field Service Technicians to support activations, installations and fault rectification across Australia. You will operate with minimal supervision in a team to deliver excellent customer outcomes and growth opportunities within Telstra's network.

The role requires relevant licences and safety certifications, a current driver’s licence, and a willingness to relocate to the targeted area as needed.

Qualifications

• Licences and certifications required by regulators and industry standards.
• Open cabling licence with endorsements must be maintained.
• White Card and WWCC are mandatory or desirable as stated.
• A valid driver’s licence is required for field work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fault rectification, service assurance and product installations to meet needs.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot telecoms infrastructure across fibre and copper.
• Support fibre networks and data connectivity services for customers.
• Install and maintain customer premises technology solutions for residential and business users.
• Diagnose and resolve service faults across fixed access networks focusing on fibre/digital tech.
• Perform commissioning, restoration and maintenance in urban, regional and remote areas.
