Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced Technology Lead / Senior Developer to design, develop, and integrate critical real-time power system software solutions for the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) in Australia.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, SMEs, PMs, and integration teams, supporting production readiness and deployment, and delivering enhancements for power system applications at scale. Docker/Kubernetes experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex enterprise applications and software integrations.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and integrate enterprise software solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Proficiency with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, and microservices.
• Strong ORM experience (EF, Dapper, Hibernate).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate enterprise software solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, project managers, and integration teams.
• Support production readiness, deployment, and transition-to-support activities.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements for power system applications.
• Manage software builds, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing applications for critical infrastructure.
