Job summary

Salt is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop and commission real-time power system software for WA's energy sector. Hybrid work from Perth CBD with a 12-month contract and a daily rate of AUD 950.

You will join the Operation Solutions team, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, Java and modern front-end frameworks. Strong emphasis on reliability, security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in software design, development and integration.
• Experience delivering enterprise apps using C#, .NET Core, Java, Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper, Hibernate).
• Familiarity with Vue, Angular, React, Blazor or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience building scalable web APIs and working with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of SCADA, PI, or real-time systems is an advantage.
• Desirable: WA Energy Transformation Strategy and WEM Reforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver critical power system operation software solutions.
• Collaborate with project and integration teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support production readiness and develop relevant documentation and materials.
• Assist with transition-to-support planning and provide SME for enhancements.
• Contribute to the reliability and security of digital systems.
• Champion workplace safety, inclusion and compliance standards.
