Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Muswellbrook, NSW, is seeking a Field Service Diesel Mechanic to support mining and industrial customers. You will travel to sites to perform breakdowns and preventative maintenance, delivering a first-class service.

The role follows a 5 on 4 off day/night roster with a Tool of Trade vehicle provided and ongoing Cummins training to become an engine expert. A relevant trade qualification and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)
• A valid driver’s license
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first-class service to our mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician
• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks
• Deliver support for our new Tier 4 HHP engines, the most advanced HHP product on the market following fully Cummins technical training

We are looking for talented Field Service Diesel Mechanics to join our team in the Hunter region. Based at our Muswellbrook branch, our team specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across high horsepower mining and industrial applications.
