Job summary

dormakaba Australia & New Zealand is seeking a dedicated Training and Field Assessment Lead for Service Technicians. You will design, deliver and refresh local training programs, assess competency, and support in creating training materials.

You will travel quarterly to various sites to deliver training and provide support to the local business unit's training administration. The role requires prior field training experience, strong technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical systems, and

Qualifications

• Facilitate training and conduct assessments in a field role
• Experience in a service environment
• Technical experience in a service department or similar training
• Confident in public speaking
• Background in mechanical or electrical systems
• Facilitate, mentor, coach and build relationships to promote behavioural change
• Experience designing, developing, and updating training packages
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver technical training for Technicians, Agents and Managers
• Develop and coordinate training for Industrial Technicians, Agents, and Field Managers
• Act as a technical subject matter liaison across teams and stakeholders
• Improve, update, and share latest technology and best practices, including SOPs
• Provide technical advice to installers and technicians on process and practice
• Provide technical and field support for Service Technicians, Field Managers and Agents
• Conduct competency assessments and on-site work audits
• Maintain and manage technical documents for accessibility and accuracy
