Job summary

dormakaba International Holding AG in Sydney, Australia seeks a Training Lead to oversee the development, delivery and assessment of technical training for Service Technicians. You will collaborate with the National Training & Field Assessment Manager and the Technical Training and Service Team to implement effective local processes and publish up-to-date training material.

Travel quarterly to various locations to deliver training and provide regional technical support, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in a service environment.
• Technical experience in a service department or technical training setting.
• Confident public speaker.
• Background in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Ability to mentor, coach and build lasting relationships to drive change.
• Experience designing and updating training packages is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver technical training for Technicians, Agents and Managers.
• Develop and coordinate training for Industrial Technicians, Agents, and Field Managers.
• Act as a technical liaison across teams and stakeholders.
• Update SOPs and share best practices for site area management and safety.
• Provide technical advice to installers and technicians on process and theory.
• Deliver field support for Service Technicians, Field Managers and Agents.
• Conduct competency assessments and on-site audits.
• Maintain and manage technical documents for accessibility and accuracy.
