Job summary

CSE Crosscom in Darwin is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead a skilled technician team across the workshop and client sites, shaping work patterns and service methods to enhance client satisfaction and efficiency.

You will drive governance, HSEQ, SLA and KPI reporting, and manage financial aspects while mentoring staff and contributing to Darwin branch leadership with strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Proven service management experience overseeing end-to-end operations including people, cost, customer service and reporting.
• Formal and hands-on leadership experience with a medium to large technical team.
• Exposure to contract development and contract management.
• Tertiary qualifications or trades certification or applied experience in a technical field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Proven track record of building and developing a cohesive service-oriented team.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with financial awareness.
• Collaborative mindset aligned with CSE values.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork and a positive environment through toolbox talks, performance reviews, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Coordinate with Operations for scheduling and solutions delivery.
• Manage utilisation of staff and resources for service delivery.
• Oversee maintenance ownership and ensure completion and compliant customer records.
• Monitor and report on operating costs of Technical Services.
• Oversee vendor quality to meet specifications and requirements.
• Promote HSEQ compliance and continuous improvement of processes.
• Ensure governance to CSE policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities and drive client satisfaction.
