Job summary

Solenis is seeking a hands-on Technical Service Representative to support customers from Maryborough through to Rockhampton. This field-based role involves installing, maintaining and servicing dispensing equipment while delivering training and technical support.

You will build strong relationships with store managers and engineers, respond to breakdown calls, and work autonomously to ensure optimal performance and safety across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Field service experience in equipment maintenance or technical support.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality service delivery.
• Experience delivering training or coaching customers is valued.
• Valid driver’s licence and basic tech literacy.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Service Representative to support our growing customer base from Maryborough through to Rockhampton and the surrounding communities. This field-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building strong customer relationships and working independently while delivering outstanding technical service.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of dispensing equipment and systems, while providing customers with training and technical support. You’ll play an important role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service and achieve the best outcomes from our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission dispensing and dosing equipment at customer sites.


• Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs.


• Respond to customer breakdown calls and technical support requests.


• Conduct customer training and ensure training records are completed.


• Build strong relationships with store managers, operators, engineers and other customer stakeholders.


• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.


• Support new customer and site rollouts across multiple industry sectors.


• Complete service reporting and documentation through company systems.


• Maintain safety documentation and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and customer-focused technical professional with strong organisational skills and a practical approach to problem solving.

• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, technical support or a similar role.


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.


• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.


• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery.


• Experience delivering training or coaching customers is highly regarded.


• A current driver’s licence.


• Intermediate technology skills for reporting and service management systems.
