Job summary

Dutch Cargo is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive new business, manage customer relationships and provide expert product advice across eBikes and eCargo Bikes. The role combines sales focus with hands-on technical knowledge to match customer needs with the right mobility solutions.

Based in Moorabbin, this full-time position offers product training, exposure to leading brands and a collaborative, small-team environment in the growing sustainable-transport sector.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, technical sales, account management or business development.
• Experience working directly with customers and developing ongoing relationships.
• Confidence explaining technical products and solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to developing new business.
• Good organisational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales opportunities with businesses, organisations and other prospective customers.
• Identify and approach potential B2B customers and build ongoing commercial relationships.
• Manage incoming sales enquiries and proactively follow up prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable eBike/eCargo Bike solutions.
• Provide detailed technical and product advice across bikes, components and accessories.
• Conduct product consultations, demonstrations and test rides.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales orders.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify repeat and additional sales opportunities.
• Manage sales opportunities and customer information through our sales and CRM systems.
• Work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and communications.
• Assist with exhibitions, demonstrations and other business-development activities.
• Support B2B and B2C sales channels.
