Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a people-focused Technical Operations Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient operation of the core yard at Ernest Henry Operations. Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will oversee core sample management, contractor coordination, and day-to-day core yard activities while driving a strong safety culture and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role ideally in a supervisory or team leadership position within mining or exploration.
• Experience leading teams, managing contractors, and driving performance outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with operational systems, workflows, and reporting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Field Technicians and contract geology loggers.
• Oversee receipt, storage, tracking, and shipment of core samples.
• Manage core yard workflows, systems, and operational processes.
• Coordinate contractors and stakeholders to support drilling and geology programs.
• Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and support budget requirements.
• Monitor data integrity, reporting, and operational performance.
