Northern Star in Kalgoorlie is seeking a Geology Technician Superintendent to lead a field team and supervise core processing operations at a premier Australian gold mine.

You will drive the establishment of a state-of-the-art Core Processing Facility, work with geologists and engineers to optimise workflows, and deliver value through new technology adoption within a 5:2:4:3 roster and the vibrant Goldfields lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered C Class WA licence
• Forklift ticket (desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead a High‑Performance Team: Manage and inspire a team of geology technicians to process up to m of diamond drill core daily, from the world-renowned Golden Mile, with further growth expected over the coming years.
• Collaborate with teams of geologists and geotechnical engineers to prioritise core processing, ensuring smooth & efficient workflows, with zero backlogs.
• Oversee field geology technicians in preparing surface drill pads for diamond and RC drilling across the KCGM portfolio.
• Investigate, trial, and incorporate new and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and cost‑efficiency.
