Technical Lead | Microsoft Support Services

Ready to lead Microsoft Cloud support delivery and help shape a high-performing technical team?

We’re looking for a Technical Lead – Microsoft Support Services to join our Managed Services team, providing technical and operational leadership across customer environments spanning Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Microsoft Cloud professional who combines hands-on technical capability with customer ownership, team coordination and mentoring. You’ll act as a senior escalation point while helping the team manage priorities, transitions and service improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide technical leadership and act as a senior escalation point across Azure and Microsoft 365
• Coordinate team resourcing, ticket priorities, customer coverage and operational continuity
• Own and support complex customer environments, incidents and technical service risks
• Lead customer onboarding, service transition, access readiness and operational handover activities
• Work across engineering teams to resolve issues spanning cloud, security, networking, server and EUC services
• Mentor engineers, support development plans and participate in technical recruitment activities
• Improve operational reporting, knowledge documentation, support processes and automation
• Participate in change governance, customer operational reviews and CAB activities

What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience leading technical escalations and coordinating delivery across multiple teams
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritisation and customer expectation-management skills
• Experience in managed services, IT outsourcing or a complex customer support environment
• Knowledge of Azure subscriptions, RBAC, PIM and Microsoft customer tenant access
• Understanding of CSP, Partner Center, GDAP and Microsoft support escalation processes
• Ability to mentor engineers, identify capability gaps and drive continuous improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service focus
• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications are highly regarded
• Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Local, service automation or AI-enabled operations is highly regarded
