Qualifications

• Practical understanding of construction methodologies, materials and sequencing.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

As our project portfolio continues to grow in scale and complexity, we are seeking a Technical Engineer to join our project delivery team and provide dedicated engineering and technical support across our active construction projects.

About the role

This is a dedicated engineering position within City Projects NSW Pty Ltd's project delivery structure. The Technical Engineer will complement the responsibilities of the company's Project Managers by focusing on the specialist engineering and technical requirements of construction projects, allowing Project Managers to remain focused on overall project delivery, programming, procurement, commercial management and stakeholder coordination.

What you will be doing

What we are looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent formally assessed engineering qualification or experience relevant to the position.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Strong ability to read, interpret and apply engineering drawings, plans, specifications and technical documentation.
• Practical understanding of construction methodologies, materials and construction sequencing.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation and assisting with the resolution of engineering and construction-related issues.
• Experience coordinating with consultants subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small project delivery team.
