Job summary

Common Good Partners in Sydney's CBD seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead major construction packages on a high-profile, large-scale new-build project. You will work with the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure delivery to safety, time and quality standards.

The role offers ownership of critical packages, coordination of subcontractors and design teams, and mentorship of junior engineers within a reputable Tier 1/2 builder.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders.
• Delivery of large-scale construction new builds (not infra/civils).
• Experience as a Senior Project Engineer or ready to step up.
• Strong technical construction knowledge and ownership of major packages.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Previous experience with a recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale construction new build projects - not infrastructure and civils
• Experience working as a Senior Project Engineer, or as an accomplished Project Engineer ready to step up
• Strong technical construction knowledge and major package ownership on new builds like government, commercial, residential or similar
• The ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• A qualification in construction management, engineering or a related discipline
