PPG is seeking a Technical Demonstrator to join our Automotive Refinish team in Queensland. You will provide pre- and post-sales technical support and live demonstrations for customers, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.

The role is based in Brisbane and requires good communication skills and trade qualifications. Ideal candidates will have automotive refinish or smash repair experience, a valid license, and a willingness to stay current with product

Qualifications

• Vehicle Painting Trade Certificate in the Refine industry is essential.
• Practical use of PPG products desirable but not necessary.
• Previous experience with competitor products an advantage.
• A valid driver's license is essential.

Responsabilités

• Ensure high post-sales satisfaction facilitating long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Stay up to date with product/process training and personal development.
• Document and report demonstrations to customers with the relevant Manager.
• Assist QLD Team in winning new business and retaining existing customers.
• Support EH&S compliance and educate customers in safe product use.
• Develop and maintain technical knowledge of PPG products and competitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pre-and-post sales technical support and demonstrations for customers.

We are currently seeking a Technical Demonstrator to join our Automotive Refinish business in Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pre-and-post sales technical support and demonstrations for customers. The role will be based out of Brisbane and would be well suited to someone with strong communication skills, who is trade qualified and has prior experience with automotive refinish or smash repairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers by providing back-up support of PPG products & services


• Keep up to date with all products, process training and personal development as set by State Training Manager


• Ensure all demonstrations are documented and reported back to customer in conjunction with relevant Manager


• Assisting the QLD Team in winning new and retaining existing business, demonstrating the benefits of using PPG over competitor brands, i.e. product, colour and value-added programs & services within your Territory


• Contribute to ensuring that PPG meets EH&S regulations by adhering to guidelines & procedures for safe work practices & educating customers in the safe use of all PPG products and equipment


• Ensure that PPG is regarded as an expert and market leader in the OEM & Refinish field by continuing to develop and maintain comprehensive technical & practical knowledge of application techniques and equipment relevant to the total PPG product range & competitor product ranges

Requirements
