This Is Life on the Gold Coast is seeking a Technical Chiropractic Assistant and Patient Experience Team Member. You will support practitioners with INSiGHT scanning and ensure compassionate, patient‑centered care across the clinical journey.

You will handle clinical notes, progress tracking and equipment upkeep, delivering high standards of care for families and children seeking neurologically focused guidance.

Full Job Description

Role Overview

This is a dual-capacity role: Technical Chiropractic Assistant and Patient Experience Team Member. You are one of the primary clinical support persons for the practitioner team, and a skilled technician in nervous system scanning - ensuring technical excellence and compassionate patient care are never separate things.

You’ll serve as:

• Clinical support for the practitioner team

• Patient support throughout the clinical visit and the broader care journey

• A skilled technician in nervous system scanning, integrating precision with genuine care

Key Responsibilities

Practitioner Support, Clinical Scanning & Technology Management

• Execute INSiGHT scanning procedures (NeuroThermal, Neurospinal EMG, HRV) with precision, efficiency and patient comfort

• Help maintain accurate, clinically relevant notes - schedule of care, relevant investigation reports (INSiGHT scans, CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray)

• Monitor, document and upload patient scans for progress reports; display pre-appointment scans to the treating practitioner

• Support maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of scanning equipment; liaise with INSiGHT on technical issues

• Perform daily equipment checks and maintain organised inventory

Patient Experience Excellence

• Deliver welcoming, professional, efficient and caring interactions at every touchpoint - clinical accuracy always comes first, rapport‑building second

• Support patient adherence to care plans through proactive communication, education and follow‑up with front desk

• Coordinate the new patient journey from waiting room through to scanning and practitioner handover

• Deliver high level patient progress tracking to support exceptional patient outcomes

• Have rooms, files, scans and equipment fully prepared before the practitioner enters

• Support the practitioner’s day‑to‑day logistics: bag packed at end of shift, message handover complete, paediatric equipment ready

Collaboration & Process Excellence

• Coordinate seamlessly between scanning procedures and patient experience protocols

• Work with the clinical team to track patient progress and maintain world‑class record keeping

• Collaborate with leadership to refine workflows and raise operational standards

• Support special projects, events and practice growth initiatives

• Maintain AHPRA compliance in all patient interactions, scanning procedures and clinical data handling
