Wellbeing Chiropractic is seeking a motivated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team at multiple Melbourne-area clinics. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, payments, and administrative tasks with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel between clinics may be required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork and patient relations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive and professional experience for patients and support daily clinic operations.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, payments, and administrative duties.
  • Process patient payments and health fund claims using the HICAPS Trinity terminal.
  • Provide comprehensive support to chiropractors and allied health practitioners.
  • Maintain knowledge of clinic services, procedures, and patient care processes.
  • Collaborate with chiropractors, administration, and management teams.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional clinic environment.
  • Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Job description

Join our team as a Chiropractic Assistant – where every day is about helping people feel their best and supporting passionate professionals.
Monday - Friday (9:30am – 1pm, 3pm – 7pm) & Saturday (8am – 1pm)
Clinics –Cranbourne & other clinics in the area requiring coverage

Availability to work on the advertised roster, with flexibility to work additional weekdays and Saturdays to cover annual leave and sick leave when required.

**This role is not suitable for university students due to flexibility required for coverage

Remuneration

Hourly rate will be based on the successful applicant's skills, experience and qualifications

About the role

We are looking for a driven and career-focused individual who is passionate about growth, continuous learning, and delivering excellence in everything they do. As the first point of contact for many patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

As part of one of the region's leading chiropractic groups, you'll be supported through ongoing education, mentoring, and development while helping us deliver exceptional patient care every day.

Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure exceptional patient experiences and contribute to a positive clinic culture.
  • Consistently strive for excellence by maintaining high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and patient care.
  • Coordinate all aspects of patient care and clinic operations, including appointment scheduling, payment processing, and administrative duties.
  • Foster a welcoming, professional, and positive environment for both patients and team members.
  • Demonstrate a professional and confident telephone manner at all times.
  • Manage email and message correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process patient payments and health fund claims accurately using the HICAPS Trinity terminal.
  • Provide comprehensive support to chiropractors and allied health practitioners to ensure smooth practice operations and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Complete all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Perform a range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Collaborate with and support chiropractors, allied health practitioners, administration, and management teams.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the clinic’s services, practitioner procedures, protocols, and patient care processes.
  • Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused while working in a fast‑paced environment.
