Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Technical Assistant at a mine site in Clermont, Queensland, Australia. The role covers DNA sample collection at the access gate, supporting the Health, Safety & Training department, and maintaining records.

You will assist with data entry and reporting while contributing to site health monitoring and compliance. Local applicants from Clermont are encouraged to apply and a Monday–Friday roster with early mornings and afternoons is on offer.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Technical Assistant, your duties will include:

Conducting DNA sample collection at the site access gate following Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) screening procedures

Providing administration support to the Health, Safety & Training (HST) department

Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Assisting with data entry and reporting requirements

Supporting compliance and site health monitoring activities

What You Will Need

Previous administration experience

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Would need strong discretion as you will be handling confidential and sensitive data.

Current Driver's Licence

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
