Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) for Princes Hill OSHC in Melbourne. This part-time role supports a Director of Service to deliver high-quality care and memorable experiences for primary-aged children.

You will coordinate split shifts (7am-9am; 3pm-6pm), with approximately 25 total hours weekly, and work across a collaborative team committed to child safety and development.

Qualifications

• Ideally you have previous experience in Before/After School Care or education; training provided.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a Big Kid at heart.
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
• Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead in delivering high-quality care and create memorable experiences for children.
• Support service delivery under the Director of Service.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location

Princes Hill, 3054

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday

• Before school care: 7am-9am
• After school care: 3pm-6pm
• Total hours: 25

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!

• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
