Job summary

TeamKids, a leading OSHC provider in Australia, seeks a 2IC for South Ripley. This permanent, part-time position offers hands-on leadership in before/after school care, with split shifts and total hours around 36.25 weekly.

You will guide the program, engage with students and families, and support safety and compliance in a busy school community. Ideal candidates have a Diploma (ACECQA) with strong communication and a collaborative spirit.

Who is TeamKids? TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

Job Description This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: South Ripley

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

• Before School Care: 6:00 - 9:00am
• After School Care: 2:15 - 6:30pm
• Total hours: 36.25

The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership? As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

• Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program
• Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
• Fun: Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
• Remarkable: Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
