Job summary

The University of New South Wales is seeking a Team Leader – General Administration within the Engineering School Shared Services to lead and manage the general administration functions and the administration team. The role reports to the Deputy Faculty Executive Director with a dotted line to School Managers and has a direct report.

Location: Kensington, Sydney on campus four days a week. Full-time fixed term to September 2027 with a salary of AU$118,483 per annum plus 17% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with experience or equivalent competence.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills under pressure.
• Ability to supervise, influence and guide staff.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven customer service experience across levels.
• High computer literacy with MS Office proficiency.
• Project management experience with initiative and judgement.
• Strong numeracy skills and budget understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage administrative services and the general administration team.
• Report to the Deputy Faculty Executive Director with line to School Managers.
• Provide effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
• Oversee budgets, financial information and reporting within the faculty.
