Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is seeking a Team Leader to guide the Cruise Store, turning passion for cruise holidays into a rewarding career. You will lead daily operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service to convert inquiries into bookings.

You will quote, book and invoice cruise packages, meet KPIs and targets, upsell, manage inquiries, and maintain product information across cruise offerings. The role includes exclusive staff perks and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service and meeting sales targets.
• Minimum 2 years in retail or wholesale travel/cruise industry.
• Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Quote, book and invoice cruise bookings and packages.
• Ensure KPIs are met, and monthly sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Support and handle walk-in, email and telephone inquiries efficiently and accurately.
• Maximise sales opportunities by upselling and cross-selling.
• Monitor and action all relevant mailboxes daily.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive product information to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Quoting, booking and invoicing cruise bookings and packages
• Ensure that KPIs are met, meeting and exceed monthly sales targets
• Support and handle walk in, email & telephone enquiries efficiently and accurately
• Maximise sales opportunities by upselling & cross-selling
• Monitor and action all relevant mailboxes daily
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive product information in order to deliver and generate sales

Who are you?

• Proven experience working in a customer service environment and working towards sales targets
• Minimum 2 years’ retail or wholesale experience in the Cruise or Travel Industry
• GDS experience
• Exceptional focus on details, adept problem-solving skills, and thrive under pressure
• Ambitious, highly motivated, and proficient in organizing tasks efficiently
