Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Future Team Leader for our Carindale store in Queensland. You will lead a small team handling cruise bookings, customer service, and sales targets while guiding day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

You will quote, book, and invoice cruise packages, support inquiries across channels, and drive upsell opportunities. A minimum of 2 years in cruise/travel retail and strong GDS skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ retail or wholesale experience in the Cruise or Travel Industry.
• Proven experience in a customer service environment with sales targets.
• GDS experience is required to manage cruise bookings and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Quote, book and invoice cruise bookings and packages.
• Ensure KPIs are met and monthly sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Support and handle walk-ins, email and telephone inquiries efficiently and accurately.
• Maximise sales opportunities by upselling and cross-selling.
• Monitor and action all relevant mailboxes daily.
• Maintain accurate product information to support sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Quoting, booking and invoicing cruise bookings and packages
• Ensure that KPIs are met, meeting and exceed monthly sales targets
• Support and handle walk in, email & telephone enquiries efficiently and accurately

Who are you?

• Proven experience working in a customer service environment and working towards sales targets
• Minimum 2 years’ retail or wholesale experience in the Cruise or Travel Industry
• GDS experience
• Exceptional focus on details, adept problem-solving skills, and thrive under pressure
• Ambitious, highly motivated, and proficient in organizing tasks efficiently
