Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a 6-month, full-time maximum term contract to support a smooth and human hiring experience from first contact to day one. In this role you’ll manage the recruitment mailbox, schedule interviews, post and edit ads, coordinate onboarding, and keep systems accurate to enable a seamless candidate journey.

Qualifications

• Year 12 education or equivalent.
• Experience supporting a busy Talent Acquisition or HR team.
• Proficient with MS Office and recruitment platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first friendly face for candidates and hiring leaders, managing the recruitment mailbox and providing prompt, helpful responses.
• Allocate requisitions and support admin tasks like scheduling interviews and managing approvals.
• Post and edit job ads and ensure they’re live and up to date reflecting an inclusive culture.
• Coordinate onboarding steps, pre-employment checks, contracts and documentation.
• Maintain real-time accuracy across systems, trackers and files for a smooth onboarding experience.
• Support Hiring Leaders and Talent Acquisition Partners in delivering meaningful, people-first hiring moments.
