Job summary

SustainRecruit in Melbourne is seeking an enthusiastic early-career candidate to kick-start a long-term career in recruitment. You will learn to source and engage candidates, screen CVs and coordinate interviews, while developing commercial understanding and client-facing skills.

You'll work closely with experienced recruiters, receive full training, and gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes across diverse markets. A busy, collaborative team environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• No recruitment experience required; attitude and people skills matter.
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is valuable.
• Strong communication and rapport-building abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop a long-term career in recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and networks.
• Speaking with candidates and understanding their experience and goals.
• Screening CVs and conducting initial interviews.
• Supporting consultants across live roles.
• Preparing candidate profiles and shortlists for clients.
• Coordinating interviews and moving recruitment processes forward.
• Building relationships with candidates and staying connected with the market.
• Learning to manage feedback, offers and placements.
• Developing understanding of the markets we recruit across.
• Building skills to progress into a Recruitment Consultant role.
