Job description

A leading Australian organisation is looking for a passionate and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their high-performing People & Culture team. This is far more than a traditional recruitment role. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders across the business, helping attract exceptional talent, build future talent pipelines, elevate the candidate experience, and influence how the organisation thinks about hiring. If you love sourcing great people, building relationships, and shaping talent strategies that have a real impact, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Why join the team?
  • Join a highly respected organisation where talent acquisition is viewed as a strategic business partner, not just a support function.
  • Take ownership of recruitment across a diverse portfolio of professional and corporate roles.
  • Build talent communities and pipelines that support long-term workforce growth and business success.
  • Work alongside collaborative leaders who genuinely value your expertise and insights.
  • Play a key role in shaping candidate experiences that leave lasting positive impressions.
  • Join a supportive culture that encourages professional development, growth, and career progression.
About the role:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of corporate and professional positions.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through market mapping, networking, and targeted search activities.
  • Build and maintain talent pools to support future hiring requirements.
  • Create engaging job advertisements and attraction campaigns that strengthen employer brand presence.
  • Facilitate interviews, provide recruitment coaching to leaders, and guide best-practice hiring decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial engagement through to offer and onboarding
  • Monitor talent market trends, identify opportunities, and contribute to ongoing recruitment process improvements.
About you:
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or proactive sourcing within an internal or agency environment.
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and connecting with people.
  • Confident sourcing and engaging passive candidates using a variety of recruitment channels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence and advise at different levels
  • Commercially minded, solutions-focused, and always looking for ways to improve outcomes
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding candidate experiences and building strong talent networks

If you're looking for a recruitment role where you can genuinely influence hiring strategy, build meaningful relationships, and make a visible impact on business success, we'd love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to join an organisation that values fresh thinking, empowers its people, and understands that great businesses start with great talent.

Remember, diversity and inclusion are core to who we are. If this opportunity excites you but you don't meet every single criterion, we still encourage you to apply. Your unique experience and perspective could be exactly what our client is looking for.
