Job summary

NT Partners is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to design and manage Windows, on-prem, VMware, and Azure environments in a critical infrastructure setting. You will bridge traditional systems with cloud technology and collaborate with a forward-thinking team.

You will provide Level 3 Azure support, implement Azure IaaS/PaaS, and manage hybrid cloud solutions with VMware, Hyper-V, and Intune, ensuring performance and security across the estate.

Qualifications

• Level 3 support experience in an Azure environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, and Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Clustering, DFS.
• Virtualisation expertise with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Networking experience with Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco devices.

• Lead virtualization initiatives and automation projects using PowerShell or Bash.
• Configure and optimise Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

Strong experience providing Level 3 support in an Azure environment.

Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, and Entra ID/Azure AD.

Extensive knowledge of Windows Server (2008-2019), Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Clustering, and DFS.

Virtualisation expertise in VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.

Networking experience with Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco (firewalls, switches, routers)
