Job summary

Jenny Barbour IT and Project Recruitment is seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer to provide senior technical expertise across core infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise systems in a hands-on role.

You will maintain business-critical environments, drive cloud adoption, security improvements and operational excellence, including on-call support and project delivery with a focus on automation using PowerShell and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems Engineer in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD skills.
• Strong experience across Azure cloud services.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
• Security improvements, vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Infrastructure maintenance, patching and lifecycle management.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and participate in on-call roster.
• Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Chef or Puppet).
• PowerShell or scripting languages.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering within medium to large enterprise environments
