Job summary

Salt is seeking an experienced Level 3 MSP Engineer to lead complex Microsoft/Azure migrations and advise customers on cloud-first transformations. You will work across Azure, M365, security, and hybrid infrastructure, delivering end-to-end cloud solutions for enterprise environments.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive technical leadership across projects, and pursue ongoing certifications through a cloud-centric MSP that values collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure migrations and cloud adoption.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID and IAM.
• Experience deploying Intune and endpoint management.
• Microsoft 365 deployments and tenant migrations.
• Windows Server / Active Directory in hybrid environments.
• PowerShell automation and cloud administration.

We're working with a growing Managed Services Provider that partners with organisations to modernise their IT environments through cloud-first solutions.

They're looking for an experienced Level 3 MSP Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading cloud migrations and becoming a trusted technical advisor to customers.

This is a senior technical role where you'll work across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure and cyber security, helping customers move from traditional on-premises environments into modern cloud solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead infrastructure and Microsoft 365 migration projects into Azure.
• Design and implement modern Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, identity and authentication services.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune, endpoint policies and device management.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Configure Azure networking, virtual infrastructure and cloud services.
• Support virtualisation environments including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Work across networking environments including Cisco Meraki and Aruba.
• Implement Microsoft security technologies including Defender, Sentinel and Essential Eight controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

What We're Looking For

• Azure networking, virtual machines, storage and backup.
• VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Networking technologies such as Cisco Meraki and Aruba.
• PowerShell and Microsoft cloud administration.
• Solution design and technical delivery within an MSP environment.
• MSP tools such as ConnectWise PSA and Datto RMM.

You don't need to tick every box. Strong experience across the Microsoft/Azure ecosystem is key, and there's scope to develop your knowledge across some of the other technologies used within the environment.
