Job summary

Salt is seeking an experienced Level3 MSP Engineer to lead Microsoft cloud transformation projects for a growing MSP. You will design solutions, lead migrations to Azure, and act as a trusted technical advisor for Microsoft-focused customers.

In this role you will Mentor junior engineers, deliver Defender/Sentinel security, manage Entra ID and Intune, and support Cisco Meraki/Aruba networking across diverse client environments.

Qualifications

• MSP/IT service provider delivery experience.
• Strong skills in Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations.
• Proven ability to design and implement Microsoft cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure and Microsoft 365 migration projects to Azure.
• Design and implement modern Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Provide Level3 technical escalation support across diverse client environments.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, identity services and secure authentication.
• Deploy and review Microsoft Intune environments, endpoint policies and device management solutions.
• Deliver Microsoft365 rollouts including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
• Configure Azure networking, virtual infrastructure and cloud services.
• Support virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Deliver networking solutions across Cisco Meraki and Aruba environments.
• Implement Microsoft security technologies including Defender, Sentinel and Essential Eight controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

We’re working with a growing Managed Services Provider that partners with organisations to modernise their IT environments through cloud-first solutions. They’re looking for an experienced Level3 MSP Engineer who can design solutions, lead migrations, and become a trusted technical advisor for Microsoft-focused customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead infrastructure and Microsoft 365 migration projects to Azure.
• Design and implement modern Microsoft cloud solutions.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced Level3 MSP Engineer who has successfully delivered Microsoft cloud transformation projects within an MSP environment. You’ll stand out if you can demonstrate experience with:

• Migrating customers from on-premises infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.
• Designing and administering Microsoft Entra ID, including identity, authentication and access management.
• Deploying and managing Microsoft Intune, including endpoint configuration, policy creation, compliance and device management.
• Delivering Microsoft365 implementations and tenant migrations.
• Azure infrastructure including networking, virtual machines, storage and backup.
• Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments.
• Networking across Cisco Meraki and Aruba technologies.
• Virtualisation using VMware or Hyper‑V.
• PowerShell automation and Microsoft cloud administration.
• Working within a fast‑paced Managed Services Provider.
