Job summary

Ramtech Computing Pty Ltd in Noosaville, QLD, is seeking an experienced client-facing IT professional to support a broad range of technologies. You will manage Microsoft 365 environments, identities, and security policies while delivering remote and on-site support to clients.

Ideal candidates have deep Microsoft 365 experience, strong networking knowledge, and a willingness to own client issues. This full-time role is based from the Noosaville office with some travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience across a broad range of technology as an expert generalist.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune experience.
• Understanding of device management, identity protection, access controls and cybersecurity.
• Experience with RMM and remote support platforms.
• Familiar with endpoint protection, EDR, application control and security monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting backup solutions and responding to infrastructure and security alerts.
• Knowledge of business password managers and secure credential management.
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VPNs.
• Excellent communication with users, managers and business owners.
• Organised, reliable and ownership-oriented in handling client issues.
• Australian driver’s license and a reliable vehicle access.
• MS Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization, PSA/ticketing or cybersecurity certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Holds a current Australian driver’s licence and has access to a reliable vehicle
• Previous MSP experience would be highly regarded but isn’t essential. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualisation, PSA/ticketing platforms, cybersecurity frameworks or relevant industry certifications would also be well regarded.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Resolve Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 support requests
• Provide remote and onsite support to our clients
• Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage users, devices, identities and security policies
• Manage and monitor endpoint protection, application control and other security tools
• Investigate and remediate security, infrastructure and availability alerts
• Support Windows, networking and client infrastructure
• Assist clients at all levels, from everyday support through to technical projects
• Maintain clear documentation, ticket notes and client communication

The role

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position based from our Noosaville office, unless working onsite with a client. Some travel to client sites is required, so a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential.
