Job summary

Digit IT is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Toowoomba. You will deliver IT Support, Projects, Cybersecurity, Cloud Services and Managed IT offerings across diverse clients, ensuring proactive service and strong client relationships.

Based in Toowoomba, you’ll leverage 2–3 years of intermediate-level support experience, with a focus on customer service and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
• Logical and methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Solid experience with Office 365 and Azure.
• Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Networking basics: LAN/WAN/VPN/VLAN.
• Windows servers experience.
• VOIP telephony basics.

Responsibilities

• Work across Helpdesk, Projects, Cybersecurity and Microsoft Cloud environments.
• Deliver onsite and remote Level 1–2 technical support.
• Monitor and maintain networks, servers and client devices.
• Resolve technical issues and help clients get the most from their technology.
• Create and maintain client documentation.
• Visit clients for support, installations, and project delivery.

Your Role

Digit IT is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team.

Based in Toowoomba, you will play a key role in delivering our service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, Cybersecurity, Managed IT Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.

This intermediate-level role is perfect for someone with solid Level 1–2 support experience and a passion for customer service.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll work across a mix of Helpdesk, Projects, Cybersecurity and Microsoft Cloud environments
• Deliver onsite and remote Level 1–2 technical support
• Monitor and maintain networks, servers and client devices
• Resolve technical issues and help clients get the most from their technology
• Create and maintain client documentation
• Visit clients for support, installations, and project delivery

Your Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role
