Job summary

Medem Group is seeking a Systems Administrator / Cloud Engineer to join our Sydney office in Surry Hills. You’ll manage Microsoft 365, support core apps, and begin building AWS capabilities with a 24/7 managed service in the mix.

You’ll work with our CIO on security, ISO 27001 controls and continuous improvement, while developing cloud skills and ensuring reliable IT support for Australian teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in Microsoft 365, systems administration or similar IT environment.
• Hands-on administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and Intune.
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft security tools.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services for Australian-based users, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and Intune.
• Configure and maintain security controls across Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft Defender.
• Provide hands-on administration and support for core business applications, including CRM and Atlassian platforms.
• Deliver day-to-day IT support for the Surry Hills office, including hardware, networking and meeting room tech.
• Maintain automation for admin tasks using PowerShell and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with the Christchurch-based senior engineer to align IT, security and documentation standards.
